Second Day of Filming Production Blog
Hey everyone! I’m Luc-Luis Manosalvas, and welcome back to my blog. Leading up to the filming the four of us were discussing what we were going to do. Daniel didn't really want us over and said he could try to do these scenes on his own. Despite this, I insisted that we all go over to film. The next day of filming at Daniel's house, we picked up where we left off. We started off the second day with another small scene, spikeball. This was a game that only Daniel was familiar with. I filmed Daniel and Rhys play the game. Ultimately, Daniel and Rhys thought my filming wasn't quite right, but we decided to use the clip anyway. After filming the scene, we took a small break and played for a few minutes. The final thing we filmed was the arcade basketball. Once again, I filmed Rhys and Daniel playing the game. This time the two of them were happy with the final product. After arcade basketball, Lucas had to go again. Rhys, Daniel, and I then went inside. We decided to film a scene that wasn't in our storyboard, but we filmed just incase what we had wasn't long enough. This was a scene of me and Daniel playing a videogame. We played one round beforehand, and the looser, Rhys, had to film us play. Rhys was clearly disappointed, and his camerawork was poor. I argued that we should reshoot the scene, but Rhys and Daniel said it was good enough. Since we only had three people there, we finished off with four scenes of Daniel jumping into the pool.
