Planning and Preparation Production Blog for my Music Video

Hey everyone! I’m Luc-Luis Manosalvas, and welcome back to my blog. Once again, a lot of work went into preparing me and my group for our filming. This time it was much easier to find a place to film. From the beginning we agreed on filming at Daniel's house. The house has a large yard, a pool, and a flat roof which will be essential for our video. The house also had a piano, which would be very difficult to transport. We also decided that we may film other parts of the video in other places or on other days. For example, I said we should film the soccer part of our video separately, and we may need an extra day to film the main part of the video. Another part of planning and preparation that is once again essential is our props and costumes. We will all need swimsuits and a t-shirt and shorts. On top of this, I told Lucas that he will need to bring a suit for the piano scenes. We have already decided that we need the piano, a record player, two guitars, a video console and controllers, and equipment for several different sports. Fortunately, pretty much any prop we need is at Daniel's house. This is part of the reason I agreed to film at his house. This time we have a more solid plan on what types of camera angles and shots we were going to do. I checked the rubric to make sure we had everything we needed. Me and Daniel then did the storyboard, showing all of the essentials like zoom, angles, and a pan or tilt. Once again, the final step was to assign rolls. This time we decided to all do a little bit of everything. Each of us will do some filming, acting, and directing.
