Group Blog

 Hey everyone! I'm Luc-Luis, and welcome to my second blog post. This time I'll be writing about the group I'm working with for this upcoming project. My group consists of me, my classmate Rhys, and my classmate Daniel. Fortunately, I already have experience working with these two. The three of us and one other formed a group for a class we had last year called global perspectives. The three of us have good chemistry working together. On top of this, we've been good friends since last year. We also tried to add last years fourth member, Lucas, to our group. Unfortunately, he is in another class period so he was already in a group.  The first member of my group, Daniel, is a stubborn but hard worker. Daniel often refuses to accept our point of view, and was even reluctant at first to join the group. Despite this, Daniel works hard and doesn't quit. He is a invaluable member of our group and I'm happy to be working with him this year. The other classmate I'm working with, Rhys, is passionate, but sometimes looses focus. Rhys, like me, is interested in filmmaking. Rhys owns good quality cameras that will come in handy when doing our project, as well as other materials that could help us film. Despite being passionate, Rhys dos not always stay focused, and sometimes gets distracted or stops paying attention. This can also cause Daniel to loose focus, as the two of them play games and annoy each other. In spite of their flaws, I work well with these two, and I think we can make an exceptional project.

This movie sticks to the conventions of mystery movies as it has many common things that you might see in other mystery movies . Death on the Nile has things like foreshadowing, a “Whodunit” plot where the audience is trying to fi gure out who did the crime, and it is not revealed until the very end of the movie . It also holds an “Amateur detective” like plot, as the main character, Hercule Poirot, is an amateur detective who is not a member of law enforcement, and h e takes it upon himself to solve the mystery and is motivated by his sense of justice and his desire to bring the killer to justice . The Start of my Final Task

Welcome back everyone! This is the first blog post of my final task. If you're new, I'm Luc-Luis Manosalvas, and welcome to my blog. For this final task, we are making the first 2 minutes of a full length movie. This is meant to introduce the viewer to the story, and interest them enough to continue watching. I'm very exited to finally get to do this project. Now, I'm also more sure about my role in this process. Acting seems to not really be for me. I feel really awkward and uncomfortable on camera. I'm also not a big fan of editing. I'll do it when necessary, but it definitely gets boring sitting behind a computer dragging videos around. This actually somewhat surprised me, as I do enjoy using similar programs for static media, like PowerPoint. I definitely enjoy filming, especially when I have a little creative control. Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

  I'm Luc-Luis Manosalvas, and welcome back to my blog.   This is my group's overall plan for filming our title sequence. Welcome back to my blog. In this blog I will talk about the location participants health and schedule of our final project. For our pitch to work we need a dark setting with mysterious vibes. A location I think would be perfect is right near Daniel's house. It was a street with no lights and there are usually no people around. It has the perfect dark and mysterious feel that we are looking for. A backup location would be very easy to find for us. The reason for this is because me and my group mates all have an area where we can film. We all have a place that we feel would really suit the plot for our film. We just decided on Daniel's house because it was easiest to get to and made the most sense for us.
