Production Blogs: Final Preparation and Checks

I'm Luc-Luis Manosalvas, and welcome back to my blog. Approaching spring break, we still don't have time to do any filming. We were, however, able to make ourselves even more prepared. Daniel suggested that we look for a good street without street lights to film on. I'm glad Daniel brought this up, because it reminded me of a big issue. Back in our planning blog, Daniel said the same thing. That was when I realized that Daniel thought we would be filming at night. I remembered distinctly that we decided to film during the day. This was even a big part of the conventions, as it was a convention we were going against. It wasn't until Rhys agreed with me, that Daniel remembered this. It could have been a big issue if we continued with this misunderstanding. Once we all got to Daniel's neighborhood, we went around looking for locations. I knew we needed a street with a thick tree or something similar. This would be to hide the cut where the character disappears. We also needed a street that came to an abrupt stop. This was so that the skateboard would have a place to stop. After a few minutes, we found a few good locations where we could film. I then suggested we spend a few minutes at each location to see which of them had the least traffic. This narrowed things down even further until there were just a few options left. We then simply chose the closest of the options to Daniel's house.
